Courses are led by Certified Japanese Reiki Shihan (Master) Fiona Phillips, whose teaching draws from the Japanese lineages of Komyo ReikiDo and Jikiden Reiki which preserve the traditional teachings. Although she began her journey with Western Reiki (Traditional Usui Reiki Shiki Ryoho), Fiona now teaches exclusively from the Japanese tradition — including foundational and advanced traditional Japanese spiritual and healing practices that have been removed in Western lineages and are largely unknown in the West. Reiki Level 1, 2, 3 and Shihan/Master Reiki courses are offered.

Each course includes four Reiju (attunements) spread across two full days. Unlike large courses that may limit the number or duration of these initiations because of time constraints, Within The Space intentionally keeps class sizes small (4–5 students) to ensure the full set of Reiju are offered and that each Reiju is offered with the time, presence, and care required. Reiju is the heart of the training, it is the process that opens and connects the student to the capacity to channel Reiki and students are supported in their individual energetic connection throughout the weekend.

Classes and casual, easy-going and transformative. The small class structure supports personalised learning, ample time for hands-on practice, open discussion, questions and sharing amongst the group throughout the weekend and students receive ongoing support after the course as they embark on their spiritual and healing journeys.
